The theory forum is defined here as a place for indepth discussion on the theory and ideology of Anarchism. I would like to make a heavy emphasis on the word INDEPTH. Contentless, one-lined post will NOT be tolerated to any extent in this forum.
If you read the Basics thread in Announcements, you would understand the theory forum and the other Serious Discussion forums have a methodology to how threads are to proceed, as the goal of Black Flag Rising is to create an archive or 'Library' of detailed discussions to be used as reference sources on a wide range of subjects in relation to Anarchism. So, here's how you make a thread;
1. Think of a topic that has not been posted here before.
2. Think of a range of questions on what exactly you want to know about the topic, and provide a citation to some literature or link on the subject. Provide your own thoughts as well.
So, basically, if I make a thread called "Class Relations in Anarchism" and I ask a series of specific questions that have yet to be asked, then that could be a long and good thread. If you just say, "What class relations in Anarchism?" with no detailed analysis, I could end that thread by saying "There wouldn't be class relations in most Anarchists societies as they tend to follow Communist economic systems." Or, I could just close it and hate you forever. Depending on my mood.
Just try to be as informative as you can, and maybe Black Flag Rising can become an archive of valuable information.
